About Matteo
My name is Matteo. I'm a French national that moved to New York City back in 2012. I went to Highschool in the lower east side, enrolled at the United Nations International School and received by Bilingual International Baccalaureate Diploma in French and English. I then moved to California for four years to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Environmental Design.
I am now back in New York, actively studying for several professional certifications that will take several years to complete. In the meantime, I would like to start tutoring French again, as I did several years ago. My experience so far has been predominantly in a one-on-one setting with students at the elementary to middle school level. I would mostly assist with their homework or projects and spend additional time focusing on pronunciation (as a French native, I had a particular advantage when it came to helping perfect the accent!).
My tutoring approach has always been very adaptable and tailored to each student’s needs. This may depend on their skill level and where they need the most academic support (spelling, vocabulary, reading, pronunciation, etc.)
