About Lila
I’m a violin teacher with 6 years of experience and a degree in music performance with a violin focus. I’ve performed in orchestras, chamber groups, and as a soloist — and I love bringing that depth of experience into my teaching. I specialize in helping advanced students sharpen their skills and grow as performers. Whether you're preparing for auditions, competitions, or conservatory study, I’ll help you approach your goals with strategy and confidence. We’ll work together on sound, technique, stage presence, and musical interpretation. My teaching style is clear, encouraging, and highly focused. I offer feedback that is detailed but always supportive. I help students bring out the emotion in their playing and connect more deeply with their music. Working with young performers and ambitious players is incredibly rewarding. Let’s develop your talent and take your violin playing to the next level — one powerful performance at a time.

I teach violin with a focus on both skill and soul. We work on bowing control, intonation, posture, and tone — the essential ingredients for beautiful, confident playing. My method helps students play with ease and connect emotionally to their music.
I especially enjoy working with learners who sing, play in groups, or have musical instincts they want to bring to the violin. Even if you're new to solo playing, I help you grow your confidence note by note. Lessons are welcoming, positive, and tailored to your unique path.
We use scales, short studies, and expressive pieces to build both technique and style. I also guide students in phrasing, dynamics, and musical storytelling. Everything is taught in manageable steps with plenty of encouragement.
