About Jessica
I am a native German/English speaker with an academic background in Classical Studies and Ancient History. Prior to teaching I worked in several countries, where I tutored in German and English. I completed a PGCE in German with French and have been a fully qualified teacher for over 13 years. I have taught in the UK, Egypt and Germany. I have been head of department and head of year. I have experience of teaching German from primary to GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IBDP.

All my lessons are tailored to the needs of the students. The first meeting is focused on identifying the needs and learning goals of each student. After that I prepare a bespoke learning plan to guide students towards their goals. The type of tutoring on offer depends entirely on the needs of the students. I can offer one-to-one conversation practice, focused grammar instruction, reading & listening comprehension, as well as all through tutoring for specific exams, such as IGCSE or IBDP.
