About Andrew

I am passionate about biblical Hebrew and sharing what I've learned with others. I would love to get others speaking biblical Hebrew so we can all learn from each other, as it would be very rewarding and enriching. I'm not a native speaker, but my pronunciation is very close to a native speaker Israeli. Alternatively I can pronounce Hebrew with a more historical pronunciation for extra clarity.

I love Israel and have been there a few times, and I'm still learning modern Hebrew.

About the lesson

I like to teach biblical Hebrew as a spoken language. I like to get students talking Hebrew and immerse them in it if possible (optional). My lessons are designed to be fun and effective at helping you understand and remember what you've learned.

Lessons are typically 1 hour long and I can do them via zoom. If you want me to come to you, send me a message and I'll see if you're close enough for me to accommodate you.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Linguistics. My experience is limited (helping friends during my uni days) but hoping to make up for it by making Hebrew fun to learn and being adaptable. I have a way of understanding and explaining things that makes it very clear and easy to understand.

My lessons are mainly made for adults, from beginner to intermediate skill level. Message me if you want tutoring for children and I will see if I can accommodate.
