I highly recommend Naomi Cohen for this position. We have known each other for several years as we attend the same synagogue. During my time at this synagogue, she has always been kind and friendly. Countless times I have seen her go out of her way to help other people in need of assistance. Whenever there is a need in the community, she is there to lend a hand.
More recently, my kids enrolled in a new school this school year. This new school required grade level proficiency in Hebrew, but my kids were not at the proficiency level needed for their grade level. The principal recommended Naomi to tutor my kids to get them up to speed of the class. Based on initial assessments, the principal believed tutoring would be required for the first semester. Everyday my kids looked forward to the time spend with her learning Hebrew. She was patient, engaging, and knowledgeable. Due to Naomi’s excellent teaching, my kids reached grade level proficiency in Hebrew in two months (compared to the principal’s estimation of semester long tutoring). Under Naomi’s instruction, my kids thrived in Hebrew.
