Learning guitar is like learning a new language - the language of music! Whether you're 5 years old with tiny fingers or 85 years old with lots of life experience, I will teach you guitar in a way that feels comfortable and achievable for your age and physical abilities.
We start with the absolute basics - how to hold your guitar so it doesn't hurt, how to position your hands correctly, how to make your first clear sounds, and how to play simple chords that sound beautiful right away. For younger students, we use fun games and easy children's songs. For teenagers and adults, we work on popular songs and music you actually want to play.
Every lesson moves at your perfect pace. If you need more time to get your fingers used to the guitar strings, that's completely normal and okay! I use simple chord charts, easy-to-follow instructions, and lots of encouragement. You'll learn basic strumming patterns, simple melodies, and gradually build the skills to play complete songs that make you feel proud and accomplished.
