I hold two master's degrees that form the foundation of my teaching approach and content knowledge. My first master's in Foreign Languages and Literatures was obtained from the University of Catania in Italy, an experience that solidified and deepened my appreciation for the cultural nuances of languages. My second master's, in Romance Languages, was awarded by the University of Oregon, where I further enhanced my teaching methodologies and linguistic insights.
Teaching has been a calling for me from a young age. I've been fortunate to win various fellowships that allowed me to teach languages across different levels and contexts. This journey started with my year in Spain, a pivotal experience that enriched my expertise in the teaching of Italian to foreign students.

Perfect! Giacomo is a highly knowledgeable and effective teacher. I came in with a knowledge of how to read and write Italian but I was highly unconfident speaking the language. We dove right into practicing conversations. Whenever I had a question, he could explain things in detail in a way that I could understand. He adjusts lessons as necessary based on things I need to work on. I would recommend him 100%.

Giacomo is highly knowledgeable and an effective teacher. I came in having previously studied Italian many years ago, comfortable with reading and writing but not confident with my speaking abilities at all. We dove right in practicing conversations. Whenever I had a question about grammar or vocabulary, he always had an answer that I could easily understand. He takes the time to explain things to me in detail and adjusts his lessons as necessary. I would recommend him 10/10.
