About the lesson

My eight years as a guitar instructor have been a journey of continuous learning and adaptation, guiding over 300 students with varied musical aspirations. My teaching style blends structured lessons with the flexibility to explore individual interests. I firmly believe in the importance of a strong technical foundation, covering essential skills like chord voicings, scales, and rhythmic accuracy. However, I also understand that motivation comes from playing the music one loves. Therefore, I incorporate students' favorite songs and genres into our lessons, making learning both engaging and relevant. For those interested in improvisation, I provide a framework for understanding harmony and melody, encouraging them to develop their own soloing skills. For students with songwriting ambitions, I offer guidance on song structure, chord progressions, and lyrical content. My greatest joy lies in witnessing the transformation of my students as they develop their skills, confidence, and lifelong passion for playing the guitar.
