About Pedro

I have a proven track record of consistently earning at low to mid stakes poker tournaments and tables online. I've made all the mistakes over my 15 years playing Hold'em so you don't have to. Now focused on my career as an author, and on my nonprofit, I still find time to play poker whenever I have an extra expense, or for a present I want to give to family members, friends or myself.

About the lesson

If you are just starting out, or you want to improve your poker game to start earning at the table, you've come to the right place. With 10 one hour lessons, we'll cover all the basics, different strategies depending on the modality of the game, and, finally, how to read some tells in live poker.
We'll use some professional players' examples, and we will even review your own games!

I've spent the better half of my life playing NLH. I really got serious in college, once I got invited to a high stakes private game. That's when I realized I could make a living playing this amazing game.

I learn from my coach, professional players and people from other fields such as economics and psychology, where I apply their wisdom to the game of poker.
What are the qualities and skills required to succeed in this area?
Calmness, discipline, resilience, humility and willingness to be lucky.
What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?
Consistency. Practice Practice Practice.
How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?
It makes me feel useful. And coaching has ignited a new passion: teaching, and meeting wonderful people.
