About Neil
My teaching methodology focuses on creating a positive, supportive learning environment for my violin students. I use motivation to inspire students and help them stay engaged in their practice. With empathy, I understand each student’s unique challenges and adjust my approach to their needs. I emphasize flexibility, adapting to different learning styles and skill levels. Problem-solving is key in my lessons, encouraging students to find solutions to technical challenges. Clear communication is central to ensure students understand concepts, while I also incorporate relevant music theory to deepen their understanding of the violin.
