As a graduate of culinary college, he has honed expertise in a diverse range of cuisines and techniques. Known for a passion for teaching, he brings a unique blend of hands-on experience and pedagogical skill to the kitchen.  As your professional chef tutor, my priority is to create a learning experience that feels personal, approachable, and inspiring.

Before we begin, we’ll start with a pre arranged 30-minute discovery call. This is our chance to get to know one another, discuss your goals in the kitchen, and make sure we’re the right fit before moving forward together.

 Lessons are completely flexible and tailored to you. They can run anywhere between 1–4 hours depending on what you’d like to cover, and they can take place either in person or virtually. You’re welcome to book solo sessions for a more focused, one-to-one experience, or join with friends, family, or colleagues for a group class.

My hourly rate is £30, and for in-person lessons, a travel fee will be added to cover my journey to you.

Since November 2022, I’ve been working as a private tutor, drawing on my years of professional culinary experience.

  • When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

    My passion found me at the young age of four. My Mum and my Nan were housewives of the working class. They opened my eyes to the world of the kitchen, and we would bake cakes together. I would stand on a small handcrafted stool, built by my late grandad. It worked superbly in allowing me to reach the kitchen surfaces. I learnt all I needed to know about life during those sessions!
  • Which artists or works affect you the most?

    Inspiration often comes from those that decide to dream. Those that dream of a better life, and those that act upon it. Having grown up in the kitchen, you often find yourself dreaming whilst cooking. Creativity it art, and I'm always intrigued to see that from others. Which is why I love and cherish teaching and mentoring others. Food brings happiness, in every way, shape and form!
  • What are the qualities and skill required to succeed in this area?

    You need to be determined, adaptable and resilient. An all rounded individual with a willingness to learn and adapt under different circumstances, which will require you to step out of your comfort zone on a daily basis, take on responsibility and conquer anything you put your mind to. Someone that can communicate effectively (90% listening and 10% talking) but most important of all…Ooze in passion and potential!
  • What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

    Everything starts with an idea. The rest, is what you make of it!
  • How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

    Passion cannot be summed up on the spot. It can only be seen in action, in one's demeanour, the steps they take in situations and how they take them, and the result that comes of it. My passion is to put smiles on faces, that gives me the biggest kick, better than anything this world has to offer. And I will do my utmost to keep doing that, for as many people, for as long as I possibly can!
  • What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

    I'm proud of myself for many reasons. By the age of 21, I've experienced things, some would only dream of being able to do in a lifetime! From working in my local high street gastropub to tackling two flagship 5* hotels within the leading name in Hospitality. From the age of four, this line of work has been my step ladder to success. And it hasn't disappointed.
  • Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

    People surprise me on a daily basis. Quite often people underestimate themselves, through fear of failure. And I'm quick to tell them, that the people that have never made a mistake, have never tried something new! I think living a sheltered life would be even scarier. Life is about learning, and you don't learn from succeeding, you learn from your mistakes!
  • Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

    Patience. A teacher that isn't patient, isn't a teacher at all.
