About Callie
Guitar tutor with 12 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I’ve successfully helped around 250 students develop their skills and passion for music. My teaching philosophy focuses on clear communication, building strong foundational skills, and making learning fun. I tailor lessons to each student's needs, whether they’re beginners or more advanced players. I also emphasize cultural sensitivity, incorporating different music genres into lessons to broaden students’ musical knowledge. My goal is not just to teach guitar but to inspire a love for music and help students reach their full potential!

As a guitar tutor with over 12 years of experience, my teaching approach is centered on communication, integrity, and cultural sensitivity. I believe clear communication is key to understanding and improving in music. I ensure my students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing any challenges they face, making the learning process more interactive and enjoyable.
I approach each lesson with integrity, maintaining a professional attitude while being patient and supportive. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel confident to explore new techniques and ideas.
Cultural sensitivity plays an important role in my teaching. Music is universal, and I respect and incorporate diverse musical styles—whether it’s classical, jazz, electric, acoustic, or bass guitar. By learning songs and techniques from different genres, students gain a well-rounded musical education.
I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, and songwriting, ensuring that students develop a comprehensive understanding of music. With this holistic approach, I aim to help students not only play guitar but also connect deeply with the music they love.
