About Molly
I am a BA Media Production Graduate and current MA Journalism student studying at Nottingham Trent University. Before this, I studied A-Level Media, Criminology and Dance. These were all essay-based subjects and studying for my degree has required a strong focus on academic writing.
I'm very capable of teaching English skills at a variety of levels due to my background in subjects. I have a background in teaching creative arts in ages 5-14 and I am able to adapt lessons and topics to a variety of ages to fit their needs and abilities.

I'm a very flexible teacher and my lessons will be built around the learning style of the student, with a focus on active participation. For GCSE or A-Level students, a focus on exam papers will be highlighted but we will also explore topics using real-world scenarios that will provide the student with a deeper understanding of any theory we tackle.
I am also experienced using Adobe Creative Suite and can provide training using Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop and InDesign. These are all tools that can be used in the production of coursework and I can provide the building blocks of strong skills to be used going forward in any media or creative subjects.
I teach online and the virtual classroom can be really helpful as it allows collaboration in lessons - we can work through questions and brainstorm answers together and I find this to be an engaging learning style that can be applied to a variety of subjects.
I started tutoring KS3 English and Maths when I was 16 and have worked as a teacher in creative arts from the age of 16-18. I also work as a school tutor currently for GCSE English, Maths and sciences.
