About Laila

I’m a classically trained musician and graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, with a passion for helping young students unlock their musical potential and gain places at top-performing schools through musical aptitude testing.
Over the past several years, I’ve successfully supported students in gaining admission to highly competitive schools via both Round 1 (listening/aural tests) and Round 2 (performance assessments). My teaching style is structured, encouraging, and fully tailored to the unique requirements of each school and student.
With a deep understanding of the different musical aptitude formats used across UK secondary schools, I offer not only expert guidance but also insider-level preparation — from building core listening skills to polishing performance pieces for auditions.
