About Dakota
I come from the picturesque water town of Suzhou near Shanghai and have recently relocated to Southend. I can teach all levels of Mandarin, speaking, reading and writing and I always make sure my classes are fun and interactive.
My approach to teaching is knowing that there is no such thing as one size fits all and I always tailor my lessons to meet my students’ needs and expectations. I have 6 years’ experience teaching young learners and adults in Chinese nurseries and private tutoring centres. I have developed great relationships with my clients and parents from China still call me to ask for advice about their children’s education. Tutoring is more than just a job for me.
