About Birgit
I have been a language trainer for German as a foreign language (DaF) with intercultural competence and translator for about 25 years. Since then, I have been preparing learners of German in Germany and abroad for official exams such as Telc and Goethe daily with the best results.
In companies, I specialize in German for business, German for engineering, architecture and construction, and law. I help you to acquire the appropriate communicative skills to improve your written as well as oral expression. My teaching is always in an international context, and I also offer job application seminars, welcome culture, etiquette seminars.

Experienced German teacher with intercultural competence has been offering online German lessons for private students and companies for over 25 years. I prepare for all official exams such as TELC, Goethe certificates, for university entrance. My teaching concept focuses on communicative training in the language of instruction. You will be involved in German language and communicate from the very beginning in German.
Even after the first German lesson you will notice that you have learned something new and can immediately put it into practice.
During our online German lessons via Zoom we work with brand new teaching materials online and in the virtual classroom as well as with proven teaching materials. We combine these with worksheets, exercise sheets in PDF, newspaper articles and clippings, songs and their lyrics, poems for pronunciation training, YouTube videos and more.
This is my principle: you will be able to use new German structures and German vocabulary in practice immediately to be even more successful in your professional and private life.
Language always means communication, so that you understand the context of business meetings, presentations, dinners and visits to the authorities and can participate actively and competently in conversations.
German pronunciation training and phonetics. My German pronunciation training takes place in individual lessons as well as in group training. We will always focus on a particular group of words to improve together in a practical way.
