About Kirsty
Originally from the Isle of Lewis, I have lived in Edinburgh for 7 years now and work predominantly as a Communications Manager for an NGO. However, I thoroughly miss having the opportunity to speak Gaidhlig, and would love to teach others how to speak such an important and culturally significant language.

We will go through basic conversational Gaidhlig, the alphabet, and pronunciations. We can also review any texts you may have if you send them to me in advance, and we can discuss them in the lessons. If you have a particular area of interest, please drop me a message and we can take a look together.
Lessons will last 1 hour, and are aimed at total beginners/intermediate beginners.
I am fluent in Gaidhlig and a native speaker from the Highlands.

Perfect! We had an introductory session which I much enjoyed. I felt I would make good progress while having fun learning with her.
Perfect! I just had my first class with Kirsty. She's a wonderful teacher. Her classes are extremely well organized and she's very, very patient. And Scottish Gaelic sounds like music!
- Cesar is a pleasure to tutor. He is very engaged and eager to learn, and has a comprehensive understanding of many languages.
