Psychology Scholar: * Completed my B.A in Psychology with a 4.0 GPA, achieving only A- to A+ in all my courses. * Received the Psychology Program 3rd Year Award, for having the highest grade in my cohort in Abnormal Psychology, and Research Methods & Statistics II * Passionate about Psychology and its diverse applications to every aspect of life Ontario Certified Teacher: * Bachelor of Education degree * Successfully gained my teaching certificate for grades 7 - 12 in Social Science and French * Taught over 60 classes to a diverse group of learners in elementary/secondary schools, as well as adult learners. Experienced Tutor: * Have been on SuperProf for three years * Designed personalized lessons for learners aged 10 - 36, with diverse goals and learning styles!

About the lesson

As an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT), I have a deep understanding of what is expected in any given assignment. Be it a research paper, a persuasive essay, or a comparative piece, I can guide you to achieve A-level work. How? Meeting you where you are at in the writing process: - brainstorming ideas - creating an outline - beginning to write - editing - refining your final draft Beyond providing feedback and suggesting changes, I teach the principles behind good writing. This will help you understand WHY these changes matter. My hope is that eventually, you'll be able to produce amazing writing on your own. While my teaching license covers grades 7 - 12, I have three years of experience tutoring university students who often face the challenge of meeting essay writing expectations not fully addressed in high school. It would be an honor to help you navigate these new demands and develop the skills needed for success!

Karen es una excelente maestra de Inglés. Me ha ayudado mucho a superar mis lagunas en el idioma Inglés y lo más significativo es que siempre lo hace de una manera alegre, también a veces hasta divertida. Karen es una persona muy apasionada en todo lo que hace, por lo que la recomiendo al ciento por ciento. Tiene gran paciencia con sus alumnos y le da felicidad cada vez que alguno de ellos alcanza un nivel mayor del que se encuentra. Gracias Karen!!!!
