About Lola
Salut amis, hola amigos, hallo Freunde!
I am an Oxford University language undergrad with major passion for languages and would love to share it and pass it on to you.
I have taught myself various languages throughout the years (Swedish, Japanese, Portuguese, ASL, etc.) so I know from experience how hard it can be but I also know which methods achieve success and which do not. For this reason, I will be able to help you at any point in your language career!
Usually people struggle with either grammar or conversation in a foreign language and I'd be more than happy to help you with one or both. I can also help your child with English GCSE!

The typical length of a lesson will be an hour for GCSE and A level students or at any point you would like to pick up a language!
I have been tutoring for 5 years now and have helped girls get 9s in their language GCSEs at South Wilts Grammar School. I understand that languages aren't a lot of students' priority and many people struggle with them.
I believe the struggle that most people face when learning a language is not down to the student, but actually how languages are taught in this country nationwide. I have been to schools abroad and have noticed the difference in what is an effective language-learning technique and which are not. For this reason, my method of teaching follows the European interactive model, where it is better to inspire a passion in students for culture sharing, the importance of communication and demonstrating that learning a language means unlocking a whole new world of friends, food and amazing personal and job opportunities.
For me, maintaining an aspect of fun in language learning is key. This is what creates the motivation to carry on learning!
I am dedicated to your grades and have some insider techniques on how to score well.
