I focus on building a strong foundation in shooting techniques, ensuring players develop proper form and consistency through practice. My teaching methodology emphasizes hands-on drills and repetition, allowing students to build muscle memory and confidence in their shooting skills.

Each session is structured to last 1-1.5 hour, providing ample time for warm-ups, focused shooting practice, and feedback on technique

With experience representing my school team and participating in several basketball clubs, I bring both practical knowledge and a passion for the game to my coaching.

My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate players, typically aged 10 and above, who want to improve their shooting form and overall basketball skills. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I’m here to help you succeed on the court!

  • At what age did you start playing sports? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

My first ever sport was swimming. I started learning when I was 7 and continued training until I was 12, which led to my first swimming competition, where I won 3rd place. When I turned 14, I got into basketball because my school was well-known for it, and many of my friends were playing. Two years later, I made it onto the school team and continued to train seriously.
  • What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?

My favourite sport is definitely basketball. I was lucky to meet a coach who trained me kindly, even though I wasn't from his school. With his guidance and my hard work, I made it into my school team and even competed in open club tournaments.
Another sport I love is swimming. I enjoy it a lot because it clears my mind and builds great stamina for basketball. Recently, I've also picked up pickleball and found it really fun.
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

Every time I learn a new technique or turn something difficult into something easy, I feel a strong sense of achievement. That feeling always motivates me to keep going and do better.
  • Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?

Yes, I'm proud of winning 3rd place in my primary school swimming competition and becoming the basketball champion in my school's Pudu zone tournament.
  • How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

My achievements remind me how far I've come, while challenges keep me grounded and teach me patience. Whether it's learning a tough swimming stroke or losing a basketball match, every experience helps me grow. They've shaped me into a more disciplined and focused athlete.
  • If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

I'd choose Michael Jordan. I'd ask him how he dealt with failure, what kept him mentally strong, and what advice he has for young athletes who want to achieve greatness in both sports and life.
  • How do you help people stay motivated?

I encourage my students by reminding them that every small step forward matters. I always make an effort to celebrate their progress, no matter how small, and try to make training fun and meaningful. Motivation comes from consistent support and a positive environment.
  • What makes you a Superprof in sports?

I believe I'm a Superprof because I truly care about my students' progress - not just in terms of skills, but also in building their confidence. Since I've been through the journey of learning from the basics, I know how to guide others in a way that's clear, encouraging, and effective. I'm always learning and improving myself, so I can offer the best support to my students.
