About Wyn
I'm a Theatre and French student by degree, but I've been painting and drawing since I was very young. With an online portfolio of work followed by 184 supporters and several labour-and-talent-intensive commissions under my belt, I'd like to help other new artists find their footing easier than I did.

My teaching method is structurally rather slow; beginning with warm-ups and sketches, moving on to drawings and paintings once students feel comfortable with the tools. I teach students in acting as well and have a history of teaching languages and literacy, so I am familiar with the difficulties presented by learning an artistic skill, that does not always yield tangible results. Art is much the same, but with practice and perseverance, I want to help you create works you're proud of.

Details
My first lesson is always free - I want to get to know my pupil and make sure they feel comfortable and happy learning with me. For a remote learning pack (webcam and email correspondence) the rates are lower than in-person teaching, £15 an hour vs £18 an hour. If you as a learner have learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia or ADHD, please let me know and we can create a lesson environment that helps you learn best. If you prefer to have lessons in person and I have to travel to your house, I charge transport costs.
