About Liora

I am a violin tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Violin Performance. My teaching takes a holistic and therapeutic approach, focusing on self-expression and emotional release through music. I believe the violin is a powerful tool for mindfulness and stress reduction. Together, we explore musical storytelling as a way to connect with your inner voice. Improvisation, journaling, and creating soundscapes are key parts of my lessons. I have experience working with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adult students seeking healing through their violin journey. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on both playing the violin and taking excellent care of the instrument. I believe that understanding violin care and maintenance is essential for every player. Lessons include proper handling techniques to prevent damage and keep your violin safe. We cover cleaning routines that help preserve the finish and keep your instrument looking and sounding great.

I also teach string changing methods and basic troubleshooting skills to help you solve common issues quickly. These practical skills give you confidence as a violin owner. I work well with The Content Creator and The Shower Singer, helping them develop habits that keep their violins in top shape. My lessons combine hands-on practice with clear explanations.

By learning these skills, you'll avoid costly repairs and enjoy playing more. You’ll know when and how to take care of your violin properly. I support every student in mastering these important aspects so they can focus on making music. Together, we build both your playing skills and your knowledge of violin care. You’ll feel prepared and proud to look after your instrument.
