About Carlvan
Music is my first love but I practise Medicine for a living. I will be moving to the UK this year to further my aspirations to become an Orthopaedics Consultant and a successful concert pianist. There are my qualifications:
LTCL Piano Performance (Distinction), Trinity College London; 2007
FTCL Piano Performance, Trinity College London; 2008
I’ve won numerous awards in Piano and Vocal categories in Malaysia. I’ve also won Overall Best Performer in Kota Kinabalu Music Festival in 2008. My favourite composers are Chopin, Beethoven, Liszt, Debussy.
These are my Medical Qualifications:
MBBS (IMU); MRCS (London); OSC1; ATLS; ALS

As I will not be in Malaysia for long as I will be moving to the UK to further my aspirations to be an Orthopaedics Consultant, I will only offer face to face masterclasses at the student’s house.
I use innovative teaching methods after assesing the student’s learning styles and abilities. I have experience training teachers for their Performance Diploma exams.
My prospective students should be at least Grade 8 who seeks to improve their skills and virtuosity. One average session lasts 2 hours.
