About Kiya
I hold a Master’s degree in Music and have been teaching violin for 9 years, guiding students of all ages and skill levels. My academic training and teaching experience allow me to combine strong technical instruction with patience and creativity in every lesson. Throughout my career, I have helped students prepare for competitions, recitals, and performance exams. I have also enjoyed teaching beginners who wanted to learn the instrument as a hobby. These experiences have shaped my ability to adjust lessons according to different personalities and aspirations. For me, teaching violin is more than transmitting skills—it is about nurturing confidence, discipline, and passion. I believe music is a lifelong companion, and I aim to inspire students not just to play notes but to express themselves fully through music.

My violin lessons focus on building a solid technical foundation while fostering creativity and expression. Students learn proper posture, bow hold, and intonation through carefully structured exercises that gradually increase in difficulty, ensuring progress while maintaining confidence and enjoyment in playing. Each lesson combines technical training with music-making, including scales, etudes, and repertoire practice. I also integrate sight-reading and ear-training activities, helping learners connect technique with musicality. This approach not only improves playing ability but also nurtures a deeper understanding of rhythm, melody, and harmony. Because every student’s goals differ, I adapt my teaching to individual needs. Whether preparing for graded exams, orchestra auditions, or personal enjoyment, I provide step-by-step instruction, constructive feedback, and encouragement. My aim is to help learners steadily improve while discovering their unique voice through the violin.
