About Janet
I became a teacher in 1996 and retired in 2018. I have taught German, French and Latin in a variety of environments: traditional classroom, online and via interactive TV. Most of my experience is at the high school level but I have also worked with older and younger students.

My teaching approach is to relate the language to the students’ daily lives and to use lots of authentic materials. I am a European by birth, but have lived in the USA since 1977, so I am very adept at explaining cultural differences.
