About the lesson
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a Masters in Secondary Science Education specialization in Biology. I have taught for 14 years and have instructed Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, Physical Science and Marine Science. I believe in helping each student achieve their best, and I also believe that it is okay "not to get it" the first time, but perseverance and willingness to learn are characteristics I encourage my students to have. You have to be willing to make mistakes and realize that higher level thinking does require practice.

About Mary
I have been instructing for 14 years and have worked with K-adult ages. I have taught over 1500 students and have seen many of them go to major colleges and universities. I've also enjoyed seeing students who "hate science", actually grow to enjoy and love what they learn. I have provided ACT and SAT tutoring and have helped students raise scores over 50 points on average.
