About Sadie
I am a violin tutor with 13 of teaching experience and a BM in Jazz Violin Studies. I bring expertise in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. My speciality is preparing students for auditions and competitions at youth orchestras and conservatories. Lessons emphasise stage presence, repertoire interpretation, and audition techniques. I work with high school performers, conservatory students, and competition participants. Each session is customised to support skill development and musical growth. I focus on confidence, accuracy, and expressive performance. Students gain strategies to approach challenging repertoire with poise. Lessons combine technical skill-building with inspiring guidance. With consistent preparation, learners achieve performance readiness and audition success. Lessons encourage both artistic excellence and personal growth. I focus on training students in intonation accuracy and pitch awareness. Lessons highlight playing in tune across positions, supported by drone exercises and listening practice. I work with The Aspiring Pop Star and The Classical Vocalist, tailoring lessons to their needs. Students learn to produce a clear, singing tone while mastering pitch control. Mistakes are addressed immediately for steady progress. Practice includes slow, focused playing, interval training, and precise finger placement. I emphasise listening, awareness, and correction. Lessons are structured to strengthen both technique and musicality. Students develop confidence in performing accurately and expressively. Lessons build both skill and artistry. Together, we make each note shine beautifully.
