I use a variety of evidenced-based methods while educating students. I encourage students to prepare for the lesson before class. Thus, the course becomes a dynamic environment in which students elaborate on what they have already studied. Resolve real-life cases through group analysis, brainstorming, innovation, and creative ideas. Encourage curiosity as the primary driver of learning. It makes little sense to force students to memorize vast amounts of text. I let students focus on exploring areas which interest them and learn about it for themselves. I provide research-based specialized instruction to address the instructional goals and objectives contained within each student’s IEP. I assess student progress and determines the need for additional reinforcement or adjustments to instructional techniques. Employ various teaching techniques, methods, and principles of learning to enable students to meet their IEP goals. Also, I develop and implement annual Individualized Educational Program (IEP) plans for students to include: present levels of educational performance, special education needs, instructional goals.
