About Jessica

I am an Environmental Engineer with a Master's Degree. Since my children were born, I made the decision to stop my professional career and dedicate myself to them. Being a full-time mother was the motivation to create my personalized book company in Colombia (my hometown) that has been operating since 2015. Seven years ago I moved with my family and now we live in Ontario, Canada. I began to teach Spanish since then, to adults as well as children. Teaching Spanish has been an enjoyable experience, especially as it has allowed me to spread love for the Spanish language by instilling a passion for the subject in the hearts and minds of students.

About the lesson

Some of my teaching methods are: - Incorporated books, games, and music into the curriculum - Planned and organized hands-on activities that encourage active student participation and involvement - Incorporating cultural and historical components into the curriculum to diversify and expand learning material - Make virtual field trips to different places where we can do listening exercises and learn new vocabulary - I make custom lessons just for you and the classes include support material, conversations, and mostly, I want to make sure you have fun and enjoy the lessons in a relaxed atmosphere.

I would love to accompany you on this adventure of learning a new language. If you opt for individual classes, you will pay $40.00 per hour and receive the material covered at the end of each class. If you can find another person or more who want to learn with you, the cost per hour will be $25.00, and you will also receive additional materials for each class. Learning Spanish with me will be a pleasant experience.
