About Francesca
Hello, I'm Cesca! I have been teaching 1-2-1 cello lessons in York for the past 10 years. I pride myself in taking a fun and tailored approach to all lessons, ensuring my pupils aims and goals are achieved and that my pupils get the most out of their cello lessons as well as most importantly, having fun in the process!
After graduating with a 2:1 in BA (hons) Music, I now share my time between teaching private 1-2-1 cello lessons and touring al over the country with the leading ELO tribute band (Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra), the ELO Experience.
Aside from music, I love travelling the world, and spending time outdoors with my husband and our cockapoo Indie.

I have taught one to one cello lessons in York for the past 10 years. I have experience in teaching all ages both 1-2-1 in person lessons, and when needs must, online lessons.
Whether you are looking to learn something new, to reignite an old hobby, or to inspire a love of music in your child, I can help! Whether you are wanting to play for fun, or to work through your graded exams. I will listen to your aims and goals and specifically tailor your lessons to help you achieve them.
I have a fun and positive approach to lessons and believe that positive encouragement achieves far greater results than critical feedback! But above all, I believe that learning the cello at whatever age should be fun!
