About Rikard

I am an architect and educator with a passion for helping students unlock their creative and technical potential. My journey began with academic training at the London Metropolitan University and the University of Westminster, followed by an Advanced Study Programme at the European School of Architecture in Madrid, where I specialised in architectural visualisation and high-impact imagery using both traditional and AI-powered tools.

Currently, I am expanding my expertise by pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Project Management with BIM Methodology and Parametric Design, deepening my understanding of the AEC industry. As a freelance professional, I collaborate with design and construction firms, bringing innovative solutions to complex projects.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach.
No two lessons are the same. I tailor each session to your unique academic needs, ensuring we maximise our time together.

My lessons focus on two key areas:
1. Theoretical Discussion. We will analyse your project, identify challenges, and develop solutions to refine your ideas and meet your objectives. Beyond architecture, we will address the technical aspects of your project, including structural design and other elements required by the brief. I can assist you in drafting your Tecbook, Sourcebook or Techdiary, as well as help you understand the history of modern and contemporary architecture. Additionally, I can guide you in creating handmade architectural models or preparing files for 3D printing or laser cutting.

2. Practical Application. Using 3D software, I will guide you through transforming hand-drawn sketches into realistic renders. You will also learn post-production techniques to enhance your presentations. I am proficient in a wide range of industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-ray, Enscape, Twinmotion, D5 Render, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. I also embrace cutting-edge AI tools to enhance design workflows, such as Midjourney, Prome AI, RenderAI, Krea AI, D5 Hi, Diffusion, Veras, ChatGPT, Deepseek and Gemini.
Whether you are looking to master architectural visualisation, develop technical skills, or explore innovative design techniques, I am here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we will turn your ideas into reality with precision, creativity, and confidence.
