About Naomi
I don't have extensive tutoring experience, however I tutored for 2 years in high school with good results. I achieved 4s and 5s on all the AP exams of subjects that I'm willing to teach. I can successfully teach students how to write to the test they may be taking, and can also teach how to remember facts without forcing yourself to go through flashcard after flashcard.
I know history specifically is not everyone's favorite subject, but I believe I can teach it in a way that makes it interactive and interesting.

I believe strongly in interactive learning in order to connect with the material. I don't think simply listing facts helps a student succeed. My lessons will always begin with an overview of what the student most recently learned in class, and any questions they may have.
I have a compilation of fun games and videos that can help with students understanding of and relation to the subject.
Finally, I don't believe in forcing students to memorize facts and dates. Instead, I can teach memory by association in which the student is able to memorize one fact, that can lead them to other relating facts.
I'm willing to teach anyone from elementary school to high school.
