About Stephanie

I am a University graduate with a 2:1 in Early Years Education. I have worked in all areas of childcare from nurseries, kids before and school clubs and cruise line holiday clubs. I have supported students with everything from essay writing including dissertations, to PowerPoint presentations and exams.
I have been giving lessons since I left the cruise line around 4 years ago and it's something I absolutely love doing! Many of my students go on to achieve more than their predicted grades under my tutoring.

About the lesson

My method of teaching simple... Relax, Talking and Time!
It may sound strange, but talking through methodology or whatever you feel confused about with a professional, can really help to finally grasp what you feel you can never understand. Sometimes it's easier to do one2one than in a big group.
Give yourself time! Different people will 'get' certain subjects quicker than others.Trust me, I know!
Relax!! When you're stressed or worried you will still learn, but learning in a relaxed environment with a calm professional will help you retain that information, so you can remember it when you really need to! Life is stressful enough as it is, without making it worse.

My students have ranged from 11+, BTEC diplomas and BA degrees. All my lessons will only cover what you are ready for, no one expects a college student to write at a University level!
If you're beginner, my lesson structure would be to start at the basics and build a strong foundation to build your knowledge upon depending on what course you are doing, or your interests. If your a bit more experienced, we can concentrate on what you are struggling with, what you would like to build upon and help you to catch up of you need. Either way, lessons are tailored to you!

She often speaks from her own experiences which helps when understanding certain criteria. She is very Friendly and very welcoming and nothing is ever too much.
