1) Do you speak this language fluently because of your origins or because a teacher inspired you to learn?
I speak Arabic cause my dad is Egyptian and i was born and raised in Egypt.
2) Can you name a living, historical or fictional character that you think is the emblematic representative of the language's culture?
King Farouk. He was the king in the 1900s and the last Egyptian king.
3) Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?
I love that Arabic has sounds that doesn't exist in most languages.
4) Why does speaking this language matter to you?
I find it different and it challenges me a lot which is something i like. Arabic is a beautiful yet complicated language.
5) What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
The grammar can be too tricky.
The right practice makes perfect.
6) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.
When I got an A* in Arabic AL. This was huge a great achievement as i thought i wouldn't be able to do that.
7) How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
Traveling a lot and living in a multi-cultured city "London" made me know the difference between dialects and understand them so i'm able to talk to more people. Before I couldn't understand the Iraqi dialect properly but now i'm way better at it.
8) What makes you a Superprof in language?
I would say customizing lessons to fit each student's learning style.
