About Ula
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in music and have been teaching violin for seven years. My teaching experience includes working with children, teenagers, and adults at different levels, which has taught me to adapt my approach to each student’s unique goals and needs. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped students succeed in school performances, competitions, and personal growth milestones. I focus on combining patience with structure, ensuring students make progress while still enjoying the process of learning an instrument as expressive as the violin. For me, the violin represents both discipline and artistry. My aim as a tutor is not only to teach technical skill but also to inspire passion and creativity. I encourage students to develop their own musical voice while mastering the fundamentals of performance.

My violin lessons begin with the fundamentals of technique, posture, and bow control to help students develop a clear, consistent sound. Beginners focus on scales and rhythm exercises to build confidence, while more advanced students refine precision and accuracy through structured practice. As learners progress, lessons shift toward interpretation and expression. Students explore phrasing, dynamics, and articulation to give life to their playing. Alongside technical work, they also study a variety of pieces suited to their level, ensuring balance between challenge and enjoyment. For advanced learners, lessons emphasize performance preparation, stylistic versatility, and stage presence. Whether students are preparing for exams, recitals, or personal mastery, I provide individualized guidance to strengthen their technique, expand repertoire, and cultivate confidence in both practice and performance.
