Hi! I’m a violin tutor with over 8 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Early Music, specializing in Baroque Violin. I have a deep passion for folk traditions and love teaching Irish, Scottish, American Old-Time, and other folk styles. My lessons focus on ornamentation, rhythmic bowing patterns, and ear-based learning, helping students play authentically and expressively. I use folk jam tracks, drone tuners, and repertoire-based instruction to make learning interactive and engaging. Each session is designed to develop technical skills while immersing students in the rich cultural sounds of the music.
