About Ethan
Hi! I'm Ethan and I have been teaching for years, because I love it. I have a passion for helping people improve, and seeing all the benefits that education can bring. Beyond that, I am a guy with a love for the outdoors and for music. I found at school that things always made more sense when a friend would explain, instead of a teacher. I aim to bridge that gap - this is tutoring, not teaching. I aim to tutor in a way that is tailored to the client, not teach in a way that achieves volume results. The defining feature of my approach is personal. I have experience with the excelling student to push them, and the struggling student to help them improve. I have 5 years of tutoring practice, in which I have tailored every particular lesson to suit students. This may be in person or virtual. It may be formal and structured or more laid back and free-flowing. Whatever works for the student, works for me.
