About Max
I want to teach because I believe it's important to pass on knowledge and help others, something I have always strived to do in the past, volunteering with Air Cadets (where I first gained teaching experience) and helping lead the DofE syllabus. In my free time I enjoy Taekwondo, something I've done for close to 11 years now, achieving my 2nd dan Black belt in 2022. I also enjoy hiking in the summer months, and I'd like to attempt the 3 peaks challenge in the next couple of years

GCSE exams can be hard, with such competition for the highest grades, my aim is to help you not only understand how to get the answer; but why the answer is that way, allowing you to maximise your marks and notice any simple mistakes quickly. I also can offer insight into the best exam techniques: I achieved Grade 9 in Maths, Grade 8 in physics and 6 other GCSEs at Grade 7 or above. Furthermore, I can offer insight into the best ways to progress forwards with these subjects. Having gone on to achieve B, C, C at A level and currently set to achieve a 1st in my Aerospace Engineering Degree

I knew max from my time in the air cadets, during that time I had many occasions where I was involved in his lessons. He is very knowledgeable and ensures that you learn and gain the skills necessary. He focuses on stuff that individuals struggle the most and uses a variety of techniques to help the individual to develop their confidence in that specific area. He is friendly and trustworthy, I would 100% recommend him to others.
