The piano, to me, is a gateway to endless musical and personal exploration, and teaching it is an ongoing adventure filled with discovery and connection. One memorable experience was coaching a teenager through a complex piece that initially felt overwhelming; through breakdowns, targeted practice, and mental focus techniques, they transformed frustration into triumph, culminating in a confident recital performance. I encourage students to develop mindful, focused practice habits and to view challenges as opportunities for growth.
