About Elise Marie

Elise Marie Collins is a certified yoga instructor, author, and gerontologist passionate about promoting health and longevity through mindful movement and holistic living. She holds a Master of Arts in Gerontology from the University of Southern California and has authored three books, including the Amazon bestseller Super Ager: You Can Look Younger, Have More Energy, A Better Memory, and Live a Long and Healthy Life. Elise has taught yoga for over two decades and served as a lead instructor in a groundbreaking NIH-funded study on restorative yoga for metabolic syndrome. Her classes combine breathwork, visualization, and bespoke poses to help students unlock their potential and embrace vibrant, healthy living. Elise currently resides in the Bay Area, sharing an active, intergenerational household with her parents.

"ransform Your Life Through Personalized Yoga: Private Sessions with Elise Marie Collins

Each class includes the following:

1. Centering and Breathwork (Pranayama) - 10 minutes
Begin by grounding into the present moment with guided breathwork.
Techniques may include:
Diaphragmatic Breathing to calm the nervous system.
Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) to balance energy.
Kapalabhati (Breath of Fire) for energy and focus.

2. Visualization - 5 minutes
Engage in a guided visualization to set an intention for your practice.
Themes may include:
Cultivating self-confidence.
Visualizing success in personal or professional endeavors.
Fostering gratitude and inner peace.

3. Bespoke Strengthening and Stretching Poses - 25 minutes
A custom flow tailored to your body and goals:
Strength-building postures (e.g., Warrior poses, Plank variations).
Flexibility-enhancing stretches (e.g., Forward Folds, Hip Openers).
Personalized modifications and props to ensure alignment and safety.

4. Reset Your Mindset for Success - 10 minutes
Incorporate mindful movement and affirmation-based yoga poses:
Gentle twists to release tension and clear the mind.
Balancing poses (e.g., Tree Pose) to cultivate focus and confidence.
Empowering mantras during movements to solidify intentions.

5. Relaxing/Balancing Wind-Down - 5 minutes
Transition into stillness with calming poses:
Seated Forward Folds or Child’s Pose to relax.
Supported Bridge or Legs-Up-the-Wall to restore balance.

6. Final Relaxation and Hands-On Healing or Reiki - 10 minutes
