MUET stands for Malaysian University English Test. It is a compulsory English proficiency test taken by students who prefer to further their studies in any Malaysian university. The test is usually taken by Form 6 STPM, matriculation, foundations and other pre-university students.
The main objective of the MUET test is to measure students’ English competency who are planning to further their studies in Malaysian universities. As a candidate, you will be evaluated through four language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writing.
The MUET Malaysia test is administrated by the Malaysian Examination Council (MEC). Generally, MUET is recognized by all universities in Malaysia. However, there are also some universities overseas that accept MUET such as:

Meanwhile, for results issued afterwards, the validity period is within five years from the result being delivered.
