I’m a vocal coach and songwriter with 10 years of experience helping singers shape their unique sound. With a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting, where voice was my primary instrument, I focus on the voice as both an emotional and creative tool. My lessons blend artistry with practical technique, especially for students interested in R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. I regularly work with DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones to prepare students for modern vocal looping and live electronic performances. Together, we create layered harmonies, explore vocal textures, and build phrasing that feels honest. I love guiding students through lyric interpretation—connecting deeply to the story within the song. My approach is expressive but grounded in vocal health and technique. Whether you’re a passionate hobbyist or an aspiring recording artist, you’ll find lessons tailored to your style and goals. I’ll help you navigate vocal effects, studio technique, and stage performance with ease. We also explore tone shaping and dynamic delivery to elevate every performance. My teaching method is all about helping you sound your best in the studio. We start with microphone technique—how to control your tone, distance, and dynamics for clean, expressive takes. I also train students in vocal layering, background vocals, and harmonising with themselves to build rich vocal textures. If you're new to reverb and delay, I’ll show you how to use these effects creatively without overdoing them. We’ll talk about how to prepare your voice for multiple takes and how to stay relaxed under pressure. I believe learning studio etiquette is just as important as singing itself. You’ll know how to enter a session confidently and communicate with a producer clearly. I work especially well with The Music Major and The Suzuki Student because I understand the high expectations and the need for detailed feedback. We'll explore how to sing emotionally while staying on pitch and rhythmically tight. We use real-world scenarios to mimic a recording session and build studio stamina. I adapt my lessons to fit your goals, whether you’re prepping for auditions, school recordings, or professional tracks. Each lesson is practical, musical, and inspiring.
