About Emily

As a college student, I have taken the ACT before and am confident in my grasp of the relevant concepts involved. Additionally, as the eldest of 4 children in my family, helping my younger siblings with their Math problems has been something that I have grown up with. I have also spent a year tutoring a nine year old on elementary school Math on a weekly basis.

I help students pinpoint specific areas of weakness in a particular subject to target, while providing relevant practice problems to help students grasp important concepts in order to effectively help them improve in the subject. I believe that patience is key and am committed to helping students truly understand concepts as opposed to rote memorization.
