Teaching Methods: I utilize the Gradual Release of Responsibility model to scaffold student learning into small, manageable steps. Methodological Framework: I believe that every student possesses the potential to succeed through supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environments. I am committed to inspiring curiosity, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing a love of learning by utilizing innovative instructional strategies tailored to diverse needs. Adaptability: I meet students where they are at to create modified and differentiated lessons so all students experience meaningful and personal success. Theoretical Basis: I create student-centered lessons and activities that prioritize student agency and collaboration. Sample Lesson Plan: Student - Aiden Aiden was a student in my 5th grade class who struggled with severe ADHD and learning disabilities. He was falling behind in most subjects and his love of education was fast disappearing. I created a unique tailored educational plan for him, utilizing his love of Hawaii. Aiden created weather and tide graphs for the islands, short stories based on Hawaiian culture and traditions, and science inquiry comparing various types of sand composition throughout the island chain
