About Mehjabin

Hello! I’m an experienced primary school teacher based in the UK, and I’m excited to share a bit about who I am and why I’m passionate about teaching.

I graduated from De Montfort University with a degree in Education and subsequently attained my PGCE at the University of Leicester. My journey in education has been incredibly fulfilling, and I truly believe that every child has the potential to succeed.

Teaching is more than just a job for me; it’s a calling. I want to inspire young minds, nurture their curiosity, and help them develop the skills they need to thrive both academically and personally. I find joy in watching my students grow, gain confidence, and discover their unique talents.

I believe that building strong relationships with my students is key to effective learning. I strive to create a friendly, supportive, and stimulating environment where students feel safe to express themselves, ask questions, and explore new ideas.

My aim is to make learning fun and engaging, using innovative teaching methods to cater to different learning styles. I want my students to not only excel in their studies but also develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Together, we can embark on an exciting educational journey where curiosity is celebrated and every achievement, big or small, is recognised! I look forward to working with you and making our lessons enjoyable and rewarding.

About the lesson

As a dedicated and experienced private tutor, my approach to lessons is centred on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, so I tailor my teaching methods to meet individual needs.

1. Personalised Learning Plans: I assess each student’s current knowledge and goals to create customised lesson plans that address their specific needs. This personalised approach ensures that we focus on the areas where they require the most support and allows them to progress at their own pace.

2. Interactive Engagement: I prioritise interactive and hands-on learning experiences. Incorporating games, activities, and real-life applications not only makes learning more enjoyable but also helps solidify concepts. My goal is to inspire curiosity and encourage questions, fostering a love of learning.

3. Building Confidence: I understand that many students may struggle with self-confidence in their academic abilities. I emphasise positive reinforcement and celebrate small achievements to help build their confidence. I provide constructive feedback, guiding them through challenges and helping them recognise their progress.

4. Flexibility and Adaptability: Life can be unpredictable, and I am flexible in scheduling and adapting lesson plans to accommodate changes. Whether it’s adjusting the pace of lessons or incorporating new topics based on student interests, I strive to make learning relevant and accessible.

5. Open Communication: I maintain open lines of communication with both students and parents. Regular updates on progress and challenges allow us to work together to achieve academic goals. I encourage students to share their thoughts and feelings about their learning, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
