About Ellie
I’m an aspiring lawyer, hoping to offer the support that I felt would have benefited me during school. After taking English Literature at A-level and having loved it, but struggling to gain higher marks, I'd like to now offer my support to those in my situation last year. From changing my grade from low Cs to high Bs/As, I'd love to offer support and advice to others in the same position. I’ve always found that the easiest way to learn is by being creative and by explaining difficult topics to other people - sometimes it’s much easier to learn and retain information when it is presented in a more interesting way. My lessons consist of going through key information, a quiz, going through exam-style questions to ensure a clear understanding of key words and concepts needed to gain top marks. By using these techniques myself I was able to increase my grades from Ds and Cs to Bs and As in just under a year - so I know first hand how effective they can be!
