About Cayla
Hi! I’m Cayla, an experienced educator with a deep passion for helping children learn, grow, and discover their potential. I hold an Associate’s degree in Education from Florida Gulf Coast University and am completing my Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education. Over the past several years, I’ve worked as a lead teacher in early learning centers, a youth advocate in a group home, and an activities director, where I planned engaging programs and mentored children of all ages. With 14 years of competitive cheerleading experience, I also bring an energetic and motivating approach to teaching. Whether I’m helping a student strengthen their reading skills, build confidence in math, or master a new tumbling pass, I tailor each lesson to the child’s needs and learning style. My goal is to make every session fun, supportive, and productive, so students not only improve academically but also develop a love for learning. I believe every child can succeed with the right encouragement, patience, and guidance — and I’m here to provide just that!

I use a mix of hands-on activities, games, and creative exercises to keep students engaged while reinforcing core skills in reading, writing, math, and problem-solving. I believe in breaking down concepts into easy-to-understand steps and celebrating progress along the way to build confidence. Whether we’re working on homework, strengthening foundational skills, or exploring new topics, my goal is to make learning a positive and rewarding experience that students look forward to.
