About Katherine
I have 9 years of experience tutoring Economics to school students, college learners, and working professionals. My teaching philosophy is simple: learning Economics should be clear, practical, and interesting. I believe that everyone can understand economic concepts when they are explained in easy-to-follow ways. I focus on helping students build strong foundations, develop critical thinking skills, and apply economics to real-life situations. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their grades, prepare for exams, and succeed in their studies and careers. I tailor my lessons to fit each student’s needs and learning style, whether they are beginners or advanced learners. My teaching methodology is built on clear communication, motivation, accountability, creativity, and flexibility. I believe that learning economics is easiest when students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas. I encourage open communication to make sure we understand each other well. Motivation is important, so I tailor lessons to your goals and interests, making the material engaging and relevant. I hold both myself and my students accountable by setting clear goals and tracking progress regularly.
Creativity helps bring economics to life. I use real-world examples, case studies, and interactive exercises to make complex ideas easier to understand. Flexibility is key — I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and learning preferences. Besides economics, I can also teach related subjects like finance, business studies, and basic statistics.
