About Lachlan
I am a passionate piano tutor with a bachelor’s degree in music and 9 years of teaching experience. My love for the piano and dedication to education inspire me to help students of all ages and skill levels develop their abilities and confidence at the keyboard. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners and advanced players alike, focusing on building strong technical skills while nurturing musical expression and creativity. My teaching style is patient, personalized, and adaptable to each student’s unique goals and learning pace. I emphasize the importance of sight-reading and music theory to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the instrument. This approach enables them to become confident performers who can interpret and enjoy a wide variety of music. Continuing to perform and study music myself, I bring real-world experience and fresh insights to every lesson. My goal is to create an encouraging and inspiring environment where students feel motivated to grow and enjoy their piano journey.
