About Noah
I am a Maths tutor with over 5 years of experience and a MSc in Mathematics. My focus is on helping students develop strong skills in numerical methods and approximation techniques. These tools are powerful because they bridge the gap between theoretical mathematics and real-world applications. In my lessons, I emphasise solving equations, integration, and differential equations using computational algorithms. Rather than just teaching formulas, I guide students through the step-by-step logic that makes these methods work. I have worked extensively with engineering students who rely on numerical techniques for simulations and modelling. That’s why I balance theory with targeted drills to make learning both structured and practical. I specialise in preparing students for competitive exams like the SAT, GRE, and GMAT. These tests demand not only strong knowledge but also speed, accuracy, and strategy. I focus on efficient problem-solving under time pressure, teaching shortcuts, logical approaches, and methods to avoid common pitfalls. Practice is central to my methodology. I use timed practice tests and targeted exercises to identify weak areas and strengthen them systematically. Each session is designed to build stamina, sharpen focus, and boost accuracy. Over time, students develop strategies that help them perform consistently, even under exam stress. I work with learners of different profiles, whether they enjoy exploring the history and beauty of Mathematics or prefer clear, teacher-guided practice. My role is to prepare them thoroughly, guiding them step by step towards higher scores and stronger confidence.
